This is a weight-loss blog. I believe in nurturing good habits, creating self-image and increasing self-esteem through healthy eating and exercise.

I'm a twenty-two year old girl living in Sydney, Australia with four dogs, a cat, and a parrot who is constantly getting himself into trouble. Oh, and my family, too.

Feel free to drop me an ask if you have any questions!

“helloooooo i'm very curious about how your tattoo looked like after you lost all that weight. did I look the same, or...? thaaaaank you”
-Anonymous

None of my tattoos were stretched or faded at all. In fact, they (in particular, my rib tat) look a lot better now! I think if they had been in my lower back/hip area, I might have suffered for it, but thankfully I didn’t.

“Hello :3 Can I ask how tall you are? And congrats on your weight loss!! :)”
-beautiful-collar-bones-x

“yo have inspired me a lot with your progress, since i have similar stats! you have make a great progrees till now, keep going :D”

I love messages like this, thank you! <333

“Hey! I just came across your weightloss picture. You must be so proud of yourself, you look great. It inspired me alot. I've been so down on myself lately, im still trying to figure out why exactly.. but what you wrote underneath your picture really did inspire me to keep my head up. So i just wanted to say thank you :)”

Ah, that’s so sweet, thank you! Some days I’m proud, others I’m a bit more down on myself, but I think that’s fairly normal. :) I’m glad I could help you even just a little, and best of luck with your weight loss. <3

“your weight loss is so inspiring! I too am beginning to slowly (and with great difficulty! haha) but surely make the change to be much healthier. I've lost about almost 15 pounds so far but I'm hitting a rough patch. I'm still dieting & working out as often as I can but the weight is rarely coming off now and it's definitely putting me in a bit of a slump. do you have any advice for me?”

Sure do: stick with it! The worst thing you can do is stop, considering how far you’ve come already! I plateaued for six months at 70kgs and it was the most frustrating thing in the world at times, but I persisted and eventually I broke through it. The trick is to confuse your body by shaking up what you’re eating - have a week where you eat enough calories to maintain, and then drop back to your usual 1500 or whatever. And switch up your exercise majorly and you’ll see some results. :)

“Such an amazing success. I love your about me section, in a lot of ways I can relate to you. But at the same time I'm so jealous of your inner-strength. How did you get through a whole YEAR without giving up? How did you stay self controlled? How did you stay motivated? How did you try and ignore negativity? Thanks :)”

Thanks heaps! I just wanted to say that I answered your Q in a vlog entry a few posts down. :)

“You rprogress is AMAHZINGGGG! How tall are you? What did you do exactly? I'd love to lose 15 kg's, I'm around same weight as you are (80 kg's) would like to drop down to at least 63. What did you do? I swear I try so hard but I never succeed then I give in to sadness.”

Thank you! 8) I’m 5’7”, so not super tall. I’m copy-pasting a reply to save myself some time, so forgive me if you see this twice!

More salad, vegies, nuts and protein, and a lot less junk food. Making sure you eat every couple hours, not until you feel stuffed, just contently full, not going back for seconds, etc. Don’t cut out the foods you love! Count them in your calories and enjoy them so you don’t go and binge later. :) Exercise-wise, do something that doesn’t feel like punishment - everyone is different. I personally love lifting, walking my dogs, dance classes, and kickboxing.

You need to stick with clean eating for at least 3 weeks to a month before you’ll start seeing MAJOR differences - once you get past that initial period, it gets much easier to stick to it, especially once you’ve seen what you’re capable of achieving. :)

“HI, I just wanted to congratulate you on your progress. AMAZING! :)”
-61kilos

Thank you so much!! <3

“i know some people don't take this as a compliment but you are so freaking hot. i personally don't think you need to lose any more weight but that's obviously not my choice to make, haha. keep up the good work though, i'm sure you'll look amazing at your goal too! x”

Hahaha, thanks very much, I’m flattered! ^^; I think weight is a really personal thing - I don’t feel comfortable in my body yet, which is why I’m continuing to pursue weight loss… But everybody is different, and I appreciate that!

“Heeey. I bet you get this a lot, but umm.... wow your changes are so amazing, can you help me by saying how you did everything and give me any advice? thank you!”
-stayingstrongtryinguntiltheend

Thank you, first off… And I’m afraid I can’t go into huge details about what I did, because what I did was pretty simple.

I hope this helps!
